The Gund Company is pleased to announce the acquisition of Weidmann Industries L.P. of Canada from WICOR Americas, Inc.

Weidmann Industries, LP in Fergus, Ontario is the market leading fabricator of thermoset rigid laminates and specialty thermoplastics in Canada. The Gund Company is acquiring only the Fergus fabrication plant from Weidmann. This transaction does not impact Weidmann's cellulose based insulation manufacturing, fabrication, or testing operations around the world.

Under the new name, The Gund Company Canada, we will continue to operate the fabrication facility in Fergus, Ontario and we look forward to additional growth for the operation. The existing management, sales, and service team will continue to serve our customers with dedicated and passionate responsiveness.
