Composite Engineering and Fabrication represents the core focus of The Gund Company. We manufacture custom components from thermoset composite materials. From an engineering standpoint, we can work with our customers to develop new materials to suit their most difficult composite material problems including thermal environment, mechanical forces, shock and vibration, and even cost.

After new parts are approved for production, The Gund Company utilizes custom engineered proprietary equipment as well as the the latest CNC machining equipment and automated production cells to produce custom components using the most efficient process possible. Because much of production equipment is proprietary in design, we rarely elaborate on the details of our production machinery technology.
Our flexible production scheduling system allows us to optimize production scheduling to offer the shortest lead-times in the industry. To minimize inventory carrying costs, many of our customers have established supply agreements with TGC that guarantee 1 to 5 day turnaround on all releases.
